Since you don't have a post with the 9/11 essay link, I will make my comments here.
I think a lot of effort went into this essay, but we are going to have to work on a few things. You will need to work on organization. You wrote a lot about the events of 9/11, you had a good interview, but not much at all about the economic effects.
You also need to re-read and edit your writing. This includes proofreading, making sure your paper flows and makes sense, and checking your writing against the actual assignment.
Also, you were asked to include a Works Cited, which you didn't do.
Matt, in getting to know you in class I get the feeling you're a pretty bright guy and a hard worker. I have confidence that you will do a much better job on coming essays.
